Our Selection

Four coffees, chosen carefully.

We keep the list short on purpose. Each one earns its place — two single origins for clarity, one for chocolate and body, and the blend we drink every day.

The MORA Ritual

A quiet moment, crafted around exceptional coffee.

Coffee is the one part of the morning that rewards patience. Weigh it, wet it, wait. The ten minutes you give it come back to you.

Brew It Your Way

How do you brew?

From a delicate pour over to a bold espresso, the right coffee depends on the brewer. Tell us how you make it and we will point you at the beans that suit it best.

Our Story

Coffee is more than a drink. It’s a ritual worth doing well.

MORA started with a simple frustration: good coffee was reaching Egypt, but rarely fresh, and almost never with the farm still attached to the name.

So we started buying small lots directly, roasting them in Cairo in batches of twelve kilos, and putting the roast date on the bag. Nothing leaves us more than five days after it comes off the drum.

Ordered Sunday night, arrived Tuesday morning. Roast date on the bag said Saturday. That's the whole reason I switched — everywhere else I was buying coffee roasted God knows when.

I'm not a tasting notes person. I want something that doesn't taste burnt at 7am and holds up with milk. This does. On my third bag now.

Genuinely good. First time I actually tasted the citrus thing everyone goes on about. One note — 250g disappears fast if there are two of you. Should have ordered the 500.

Bought it as a gift for my brother and ended up keeping the scoop. The brass is heavier than it looks in the photos, in a good way.

Capsules are the compromise I make on weekdays, and these beat the supermarket ones by a distance. Not as good as the beans obviously. Fair trade-off.

Took three days to reach Smouha, exactly like they said. No drama. Coffee is lovely and sweet, works cold too.

Went for the kilo because I get through it quickly. Chocolatey, low acid, and it doesn't turn sour if your grind is slightly off. Good one to start on, honestly.

Smaller and heavier than I pictured — closer to a flat white size in my hands. Still love it, holds the heat properly. Just check the ml before ordering.

Third order. Ground for French press every time and it has been identical every time, which is the part I actually care about.

Smooth, and I can drink it black in the morning without it being harsh. Shipping outside Cairo is the only irritating bit, but that isn't really on them.
